Childrens Mental Health Week
Thu 06 Feb 2020We have had a wonderful week celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week. A group of children visited some of the older members of our community to do a craft activity together on Monday afternoon, where they shared their experiences with each other – some sage words of wisdom were given! On Tuesday, due to the efforts of our friends from The Marketing Heaven, we welcomed over 150 people for our bustling Family Breakfast – thank you to everyone who came to join us, sit, eat and talk together. During the afternoon children visited each teacher and took part in activities from Kandisnky-inspired collaborative art to mindful body scans. On Wednesday every child in the school joined in with our “Skipathon” fundraiser for The British Heart Foundation, Jump Rope for Heart. They put their all into it and we will let you know how much money was raised next week. We look forward to welcoming you on Friday in assembly to share more of what has made this week so special.
