‘Let your light shine.’ - Matthew 5:16

Our vision interpreted by our children…

KS1

"We are bright and share our light" "We work hard and everyone can see how hard we work" "God is working through us to make our school a better place" "We need to share our learning with other people" "Jesus loves us and we should love others in the same way" "Our school is a warm place and we should bring people to our light"

Year 3

"This helps make a difference in school" "It means that you are good at something and share it with everyone" "It shows who you are to others" "It shows people what you can do" "It shows that everyone has the same amount of talent, but maybe in different areas"

Year 4

"Let your imagination take over" "Learn new talents" "Always try your best" "Be happy and never give up" "Let your worries slip away"

Year 5 

"Brighten someone's day"  "Embrace your individualities"  "Share your talents and skills"  "Be proud of other people"  "Open your mind to all learning"  "Be proud of yourselves"  "Respect"  "Have a go"  "Show your talents"

Year 6

"Be yourself - show your true personality" "Try your hardest throughout life in everything you do" "Everyone is different so don't be afraid to be you" "We are all unique with unique tastes, styles and personalities" "Follow your own dreams and path - don't be distracted by others" "Allow others to shine their light as well"

"The children shining as lights with their skills and gifts."

Although we are a Church of England School, we warmly invite families from all faiths and those with none to join our school community.  Our school values of compassion, hope and community are things that we can all identify with regardless of our faith or backgrounds. Our Christian values help us live out our vision which underpins all that we do.
