Hindu Festival of Light - 09 Nov 2017
On Thursday we celebrated Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Light. We read the story of Rama and Sita to understand why it is called the Festival of Light and then enjoyed a morning of activities. We tasted a variety of food, made Diva lamps from clay, which we have since decorated, created firework pictures, designed mehndi designs on hands and coloured rangoli patterns.
