Hello from Miss Eastwood
My name is Miss Eastwood and I am delighted to be teaching the fantastic Green Class this year. This is my third year in Green Class and I remain as excited as ever to dive into the range of topics, books, and activities we are set to explore.
Having studied at Bournemouth University and previously worked at a school in Bexhill, I love going to the seaside for some fresh air and irresistible fish and chips on the beach.
Mrs Faulkner, Miss Harper and I are looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together in Green Class this year.

Latest Class Updates from Green Class
Term 1
Forest School - shelter building

Wadhurst Park Estate
We were very lucky to be able to visit Wadhurst Park Estate, where we explored their vast grounds and the habitats and animals that are found there. Some of our highlights of the day were meeting the cows, riding on a tractor trailer and spotting huge herons by the lake!
Term 2
Sewing
In D&T, Green Class have been practising their sewing skills. They have each designed and made a coin purse with a button fastening. We are so impressed with their final pieces!
Forest School Art
During their Term 2 Forest School session, Green Class worked in small groups to create pieces of art using natural resources. It was lovely to see the changing leaves being incorporated into some amazing autumnal art.
Term 3
Vincent Van Gogh
Year 4 have been investigating Vincent Van Gogh and his famous painting, The Starry Night. They have experimented with different media to work towards their own interpretation of Starry Night for their final piece. Some children chose to change the time of day in their version or the village into a forest. Some added additional colours to make their pictures more exciting.
