Hello from Mrs Elmes
I am Mrs Elmes and have worked with this age group for over 30 years and I would not work anywhere else. This class is my 9th at Hawkhurst. I wear a few hats at school – I am the Class Teacher, Acting Assistant Head, Paediatric First Aider, Phonics Leader and Forest School Leader. It can get quite busy! I love purple and my favourite animal in an owl.
Mrs Haynes is the full time Teaching Assistant in the class and will be working to support the children in their learning and in their independent exploring time. She is also one of the lunchtime supervisors who will ensure that the children are safe and sound at lunchtime in the playground. Her favourite colour is orange and she enjoys spending time at the beach.
