Making Poppies - 03 Nov 2017
We had a busy last week of term 1 starting on Monday with making poppies for Dunks Hall in the village. We use the bottoms of water bottles cut into petals and had great fun painting them red whilst trying not to get too messy. We talked about why the poppies were so important and how they represent a soldier who died in a war to keep us safe. The display is now in the grounds of Dunks Hall in the village, by the petrol station, if you want to have a look.
