Rainbow Ice Explorers - 13 Dec 2017
On Tuesday we had great fun exploring the ice in our outdoor area. We looked at the shapes the ice made when it was broken into pieces. We discussed the air bubbles and other objects we found in the ice amd discussed how we could get them out. We melted a circle into the ice with a cup of hot water and felt the smoothness of the circle. We discovered that if you put ice into water it disappears and we predicted what would happen in an ice experiment we set up. On Wednesday morning we discovered if our predictions were correct and were very excited to see that it had all melted.
